Today's lessen is you can have missing corners and rips and even have a bill in pieces and trade the bill for new bills, but if there is a missing slice in the middle of the bill the bank will NOT exchange it for a hole bill. If the bank can't put the pieces of a bill together into a hole bill, you are out the value of the bill. I did not think I needed the raggedy slice and discarded it. I have always thought all you needed were both serial numbers.
