Barney’s Bank Club was owned by F.J. “Barney” Fritz. I remember
the place shortly after it became the Nevada Club in 1966. I talked
with Barney Fritz when he was managing the local bowling alley and
he gave me some of his chips. He was also president of Nevada
Airways. The building is one of the few still standing on the west side of
Maine St. and houses three separate businesses. The photo of the
