That deck was made by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC). The USPCC incorporated a manufacture date code for their decks. The letter "X" is the code for that deck.
You can use this chart to figure out which year that deck was made. Be sure to note that there are several possible years, as the letter repeats every 20 years. One can view other decks in ChipGuide to see similar back designs.
Also, single decks delivered to casinos still include jokers, but, multi decks for automated dealers do not include jokers. Only pai-gow poker use a joker (just 1) and when single decks are opened, the casino will toss the unneeded jokers, as it is too much troble to hold them for returning to used decks destined for the gift shop.
I have no theory as why your ace of hearts is larger, but is it both wider and taller, or only in one dimension? I would like to see a scan where the smaller one is covered over by the larger one, to see the difference.
