They're the same thing. I know most people collecting sets on PCF or whatever it be, don't really mind if chips are SCV or LCV.

I've also noticed a lot of people that walk into Spinettis talk about "The top hat and cane chips". So most people don't know H&C, but refer to the as Top Hat and Cane (THC).
