Thanks for your reply. In my mind I was thinking all the dated Orleans chips would be considered obsolete once a newer date or different version entirely was released. Obviously that's not correct. It seems like the only way to be sure calling a chip obsolete would be accurate if it's a closed casino, although that doesn't apply in NJ given their laws. No idea about other jurisdictions, but it doesn't really matter to me since all I collected were chips from Las Vegas casinos.

Wow! That $1,000 chip sure got demolished! Someone must have had a really bad day! LOL!
