Not about chips, but this hits the nostalgia button with me ...

Got an email from the New Mexico Tourism Dept. Featured the photo of the Blue Swallow Motel below -- an actual motel, still open today in Tucumcari NM on old Route 66, built in the late 30's. I love the neon sign.

I've never been there, but you can almost smell the cooling, dry-but-refreshing night air, after driving across the desert in summer. Brings back summer vacations as a kid.
