I think it's because BCC or Blue Chip Company was only open for a number of years. They're the ones that produced this mold.

Originally when I first saw some examples I didn't enjoy them, but then someone ordered a Martini Club set off PCF and had it shipped to me which I'll be shipping to the EU here next week. I took the chips out of the boxes and put them onto a table and surprisingly I really enjoy them. The colors of BCC always pop, but the mold itself is really nice.

Another one of those underrated molds in my opinion.
