Need some advice on where to stay in Downtown LV.

I will be attending an event in April and need a place to stay close to the Expo at World Market Center.

Was thinking of either Downtown Grand or Circa or The D (although I hear this one is noisy).

Any and all comments/advice greatly appreciated.
