It's ultimately up to the seller to be upfront, but you should be able to tell from the pictures. Let alone thinking about those higher denominations never leaving the casino.
The real chips have actual molds, these are on no-mold ceramics. Essentially the same thing that ChipCo made chips with.
The "house mold" isn't actually there, it's just printed. It won't always be perfect, but pretty good.
Then, the edges will always have a dimple from the ceramic mold.
