I bought a chip off eBay yesterday and now I'm having the seller sending me messages that he only listed the chip to prove his wife wrong.

Purchased the chip, minutes later I got a message saying, "Nice score!" and what not. Explaining what he had done.

Then, a few hours later I get a message saying that he wants to refund me the money because he noticed that he's been a jerk more than once that day to his wife and what not.

Now, he's telling me that he won't send the chip because he knows it's worth a lot more than it is, but clearly listed it at the price that he wanted...

Is there anything that I can do about this or this is probably just dead?

Anybody ever been in this situation before?
