I don't know if they are interested in getting MORE people for their tournament, but maybe if they knew moving it 2 weeks later could coincide with a convention of a few thousands potential customers, they might do it. We could even offer some discounted ad space in our program, a place for flyers (maybe with the Silver Striker's table if there is one?)
