I don't have any EXCELSIOR chips but here's a photo of an EXCELSIOR brick! "Cal Excelsior" to be exact, and a collector's item among brick collectors. A "soft" fire brick that easily breaks apart, made maybe 100 years ago when fire bricks were in high demand out here.
