I used to travel to Dallas on business regularly and on one trip I visited Billy Bob's in Fort Worth. It was long before I became a chip collector. That night they had a charitable Casino Night event and I played blackjack. I took home one chip of each color in use, a red, white and blue, for a souvenir. Always loved those chips, I thought they were quote rare and patriotic. Then years later they showed up at the convention in Spinetti's bargain bin with some additional colors. In 1999 I even wrote a Casino Collectible News magazine article about them.
