I like the ads for the Rex and Tango. The off-shore So.Cal. boats are one of my favorite areas of gambling history.
You note that the ads come from the Hollywood Reporter in the late 1930's. That's the era that Billy Wilkerson owned and ran this entertainment industry paper, beginning in 1930, per Wikipedia article on him.
