Silver Coins at TI

When I heard that the TI had revamped and renamed their players club, I also heard that they were giving out “silver” and “gold” coins, and I was skeptical. Went over to check it out, and this is what I found. This coin, given to me for joining, purports to be silver, and it is heavy, 36.7 grams on my home scale, but is not hallmarked anywhere. Receded edge. It comes with an alleged certificate of authenticity, which certifies the “precious metals test”, but the rest is in Chinese, I believe. I was told that one can earn a “gold” coin by accruing 2500 points on their machines, which I then calculated at $3750 coin in for slots and a whopping $11,250 coin in on video poker. At that rate, it should be solid gold, but I’m still skeptical.
