I really do appreciate the encouragement and honestly I did think about it - a lot.

There is no denying that the club needs an overhaul if it’s going to maintain and grow. The next phase of the “CCA 2.0” will take a lot of work, dedication and expertise and at this time, I don’t think I would have the time to devote to it. My plans for retirement last year hit a roadblock when a project got delayed and extended. I’m now probably looking at another year until I have enough time to really give 100% to the club and hobby.

That said, I am still dedicated to helping in any way I can by serving on various committees and helping out when called to. I do think there are some good people talking about serving, and if they get nominated and accepted, I will gladly endorse them.
