Don was an interesting guy, an advanced collector, his knowledge was a credit to the hobby, (just look through his chipguide submissions), and he was a serious gambler. His name came up speaking w Jerry B recently. Jerry mentioned that Don was an old school card counter who was banned from every pit in NV. In response he turned to and was a brainiac professional $25 a spin video poker player. I credit a chunk of my NV match-cover collection to, Don.
