Fifty years ago on December 5, 1974 I completed a 3 month Special Educational Program at Harvard University. I was chosen to attend the very prestigious "Trade Union Program" by the Meat Cutters International Union. This Program was held twice a year and was attended by a select group of around 25 Union leaders from all over the world. Attending and completing this Program was one of the highlights of my career.
We lived in Hamilton Hall on the Harvard campus and studied with Harvard MBA students and were taught by renowned Harvard professors, guest instructors and speakers from all over the world.
It may be 50 years ago but I still have fond memories of the time I spent with my classmates and professors and also traveling around the Boston area to see all the historical sites.
Unfortunately most of my classmates have passed away and I have lost contact with the ones from foreign countries who attended the Program.
Just thought I would share the memories from 50 years ago this with my chipping buddies.
Take care,
Jerry "walking down memory lane" Birl
