For what it's worth.....
I use Collector's Assistant software to log my collection. The main output is nearly 200 PDFs with 20 chip images per page basically in ChipRack sequence. I don't know that I've ever recruited a new Club member. But many, many times I've brought up chip collecting only to get a blank stare. Then I'll ask them to name an old Vegas casino then take out my phone and show them chips from that casino. And it seems like in a flash they think chip collecting is a really neat hobby.
