I knew Jim P. a bit via seeing him at the chip shows and/or his discussions with Gene T. He was responsible for making the "Our Bar" chips available to the hobby. In fact he gave them away (or maybe it was in return for a face value donation to the club?) one evening at the convention, maybe 20+ years ago. A nice gesture on his part. RIP.
