~~~ Ivory Turner Franz Heiss, who was registered in an 1870 city directory in Vienna, made his own gravers and, not only did Ivory but, Mother-of-Pearl as well... and, even though I knew he had a booth at the Chicago World's Fair, they mentioned it. The family has been in the antique business since pre-1900 and mentioned they nor anyone they know in the business has seen this signed piece.

I would be very interested if anyone in Europe knows of his MOP work. Thank you.
