No resort fees, no parking hassle, full of amenities like the State Senate. America's Best Value Inn and several others near it on Route 395 (Carson Street). Also a real old inn a few blocks north, The Hardman House. A bit more expensive but they offer a "free breakfast." Which turns out to be a basket of hard-boiled eggs. For casino action (and a basket of other foods), try Casino Fandango a few blocks south, past the Beemer dealer (good target for the eggs).
