Re: NCR DICE one of the more interesting

My son bought approximately 100 dice. I told him to try to match them so he could show them in pairs. These were probably from the late 60's and maybe older as none of them he said had any "serial" numbers.
I got this from the web, as he asked me the same question about Tom Callahan. I believe the dice had the 4 queens on the other side, but I'm not sure. He is in Phoenix, and I am in Wisconsin.
"Callahan takes charge
"...Tommy Callahan is quite a man. His Four Queens is a well run fun factory. Sat at the bar observing the keno board and in rapid succession watched Cliff Jones meet with Leonard Marxen the 4Q comptroller; saw security Sgt. Bob Lynch escort a pleasant but rather liquid gentleman to the nearest exit... Noted that Jones and Marxen had lunch elsewhere??? John the bartender looks Irish but his name is Segretti. He refers to himself a., being 'Mediterranean Irish.'..."
(Joe Delaney column Las Vegas Sun January 14, 1968)"

I believe he was President of the 4 Queens after Benny Goffstein's passing.

Many of the dice are from Downtown, 4 Queens, Freemont, LV Club, etc. He just picked them up and called me right away so we haven't been able to talk much about them. He is always on the lookout for casino and poker chips for me and thought the old dice were cool which they are.
