Years ago we were visiting family in Milwaukee and I had no desire to sit there for a week so I went on a casino run and hit every WI casino and then hit the UP and western shore casinos in MI before returning to Milwaukee. Loooong trip but saw a lot of neat sites like the bald eagle sitting in the middle of one of the back roads I was on. And that was in the good old days when you could get a very nice casino hotel room for $35 a night. The only place I can think of where you can do that today is Virgin River in NV.
