Over the years, I try to add 1-2-3 things to see or do around Las Vegas when I'm in town for a chip show. For example, I went to the Neon Museum last time. I've been to a number of places (my "past visit" list is about 25-30 places), but always open to new things --
Here's 5 possibles for my next visit. Comments about any are welcome.
1. Vegas Loop: Underground Tesla's from Resorts World to LV Convention Center & back. Only $5, but it seems you have to have LVCC attendance credentials to even ride?? I'm just curious to try ... IF I can get past the "credentials required" part.
2. Pinball Hall of Fame (South LV Strip, near the airport). Worth a look? Is it mostly a museum, or can you play the machines too?
3. At Fontainebleau: Jim Gray/Tom Brady "Hall of Excellence" -- it wasn't open last time I was there. Is it open now? A walk-through experience, or selling memorabilia (high-end?). Admission? Worth it?
4. LV Arts District (18 blocks near Downtown, north of Charleston). I've driven past several times going to Spinetti's store. Supposed to be artsy / independent art galleries, one-off restaurants, etc. Worth exploring? Safe enough at night? Any specific places to see. (The drawback is hot June vs. outdoor walking?)
5. Finally, it may be time to explore a few Antique malls around town. Such as, Antique Mall of America; Charleston Antique Mall; Antique Alley Mall (downtown). Others? Worth it re: finding casino chips+ ... or have the local collectors picked them over?
Again, comments, recommendations, other ideas welcome.
