I don't know anything about firearms collecting. Only that after a certain date, it takes a licensed (ATF approved?) middleman to effect the transfer, unless the parties are licensed dealers themselves. The earlier, antique guns don't need all that paperwork, right? Or is it more complicated? An interesting collectibles area for enthusiasts!

Corvette collecting -- I could definitely get interested in that, but I need to hit the lottery first! In fact, all the automobile collecting is way beyond my available cash, but I do watch the Barrett-Jackson auctions sometimes when they are on TV. The 60s-70s muscle cars have a nostalgic appeal for me.
