In the late 1960's bottle collecting was the thrid biggist hobby behind stamps and coins . It wasn't even on the list now . There are way more bottle shows than casino collectible shows every year . In 2025 there will be a FOHBC bottle show in Reno at the Silver Legacy from 8/1/25 to 8/3/25 .Two hundred tables expected . The other thing about scarce to rare bottles is they keep gaining value I don't see that happing with my chip collection , but I collect them because I like the Nevada History and not worried abut long term capitol gains .
