Now that I read about "Restaurant LaRue" -- in Hollywood somewhere? -- the non-denominational white chip might have been a calling card type chip for that location, not Las Vegas? I'm out of my depth here.
The chip I've wondered about is the 10c. It doesn't have inserts like all the others. And if there was a need for a 5c, then the progression would go to 25c then $1 and up? Perhaps the 5c was for low-limit roulette, so that a "barrel" would be worth $1. And for Wilkerson's use, the chips do continue to $5/$25/$100! If the idea was for "social" BJ/Craps/Roulette between meal courses, maybe the chip progression worked for the 3-table operation as described? And ... surely there are photos somewhere -- maybe in UNLY archives?
