First off I realized not all votes have been counted.

I was under the impression that this election was the most important of our life. Democracy was at stake!!

With democracy at stake I would think that there would be as many if not more total votes this cycle

Looking at the results, Trump got approximately the same number of votes. Harris got approximately 12 million less votes than Biden

What happen to 12 million votes. I thought there would be more total votes not less.
