As the US economy is the envy of the world and nowhere near as bad as Trump says, doubtful if I would have (if I was an American).
As to illegal immigration, how does that still exist? I thought he built a wall? Plus there was a bipartisan deal that would have dealt with that in a big way but it was vetoed by Trump as it didn't fit his narrative and he made sure that he stopped anything that actually fixed a problem so he can claim that he did it instead plus it's something he keeps banging on about. It's always all about him.
US inflation is better than it was projected to be but that will change soon enough along with the US debt (again) when his tax cuts for the rich comes into effect.
I wouldn't have just listened to him and Fox so I doubt I would have been hoodwinked into believing anything else he says either including the vile and hateful rhetoric he spouts.
I understand that people will vote for (in their mind) valid reasons and (like other countries) would vote for the party that they are loyal too even if a convicted felon ran for the highest office in the land.
It's not actually about politics anyway, it's about his lack of character and all of the other worst human traits that make him up.
I know that all politicians lie but his whoppers are easily fact checked and he does it for even for the most trivial things as he showed from the very first day.
Neither candidate was perfect but one was definitely worse than the other although it seems that it was because not only was she a woman but also of mixed race. A sad state of affairs. At least she had policies of some description and not just concepts or broad statements that said nothing. Plus she could actually create a coherent sentence (yes, word salads too but come on, look at Dumbo). Oh, sorry I almost forgot. Trump has Project 2025, good luck with that.
