Crystal-Short Branch Saloon (1983-1988)
"Crystal" (in Nye County) refers is a small collection of residential homes just north of Pahrump. Crystal is best known for its two legal brothels and the Brothel Art Museum. Other than that, there isn't much here except for a volunteer fire station and a small general store. The "community" of Crystal is all residential and seen mostly as a bit of rurality from the city life of Pahrump and Las Vegas. Historically, the area around Crystal has been pretty quiet with a few outlying mine operations in the early 1900s. Follow the lavish billboards for "the Ranch" signed from the busy two-lane Blue Diamond Highway (SR 160). From here, the town crossroads is six miles west of the highway.
