Great video, Oscar! I played poker at Bellagio the night it opened, and have done so off and on until the present, and can shed some more light on these chips. The first issue $10 was only used in LIMIT games, the $30-$60. There was no limit to what you could buy in for, since the max bet was $60, and common practice was to buy in for $1000 or $2000 and get one or two racks of “pumpkins”, as they were called. The $20 was used far less, in $60-$120 games, that ran infrequently, and always on the upper level of the room. The $10s saw much more use than the $20s, hence their heavily circulated condition. Presently, limit games are not played in Bellagio, at least not when I’ve been there, and the current $10 is used in the $5-$10 no limit, which has a $1200 max buy in. I have never seen the current $20 in use on the nights I have played there.
