I spoke to Mark Lighterman and have been in touch with Katie Williams (their organizer). It's my understanding we're clear to go, but yes... no sales allowed (and yes, I heard the same thing). I'll just be chucking magazines at people, luring them in with candy like I did at the SNCCC show, giving them info on our club, and hopefully gaining a new member or two. Even if we don't get new members, we at least put the idea in their head that we exist, we're a large group of people who enjoy our part of the hobby world, and maybe down the road they decide to join us. Would be interesting to get a referral that says "saw this crazy guy handing out candy at a show in Florida and it wasn't until this year that I decided I really like collecting dice/swizzles/doorknobs/chips".
