it makes not cares to me. Joe can block any buyer he wants. Reason is his and his alone.
Maybe he is all talk and just does not like making more money than he does.
If you remember right, I wrote a book on casino tokens especially those made of silver and or gold. I have a couple + thousand silvers in my collection. So I know what I am talking about. So when all I did was be nice to another Club member Joe/Sarah and inform him/her a certain token was made of .999 silver and as they had that info listed in other auctions they might want to include this in the other auctions that are .999 just not stated on certain tokens. Most people like free information especially when they can make more $$$'s with it. Answer is, block me from bidding because I wished to help.
Then block Doug for asking a question about a certain chip before he bids on it. Who doesn't totally respect Doug. He has done so much for our hobby and others.
Yes, they can block all they want. Just understand sometimes people do take it personally.
As was said - For every action there is a reaction.
I go to shows all over that I can go to in search of tokens or chips I like. Most of the time it is not the costs, it's do I want it or them. I always go to the CCA Convention. I go the the silver striker tournaments. Timing was off so I could not go this time to Jerry's show. I plan on going to Barry's show in Reno. actually really looking forward to it.
Going to Joe/Sarah show. Not a chance because I don't want to be stopped at the door and told I am blocked. Not a problem. I expect most of those dealers already contact me when they have tokens they think I might be interested in. Sometimes I buy while others I tell a friend to check with that dealer. All through emails and not blocked.
Yes, it is personal,
Dennis
