I met Bill over thirty years ago and purchased many great chips from him along with some amazing memorabilia. I never purchased any of his manufactured chips. I am sure he had the first store that actually sold casino stuff for collectors. He produced the “Blue Book” which was a catalog of his merchandise for sale. Pioneer Yes! Saint No! He made so many chips over the years people started collecting them as a category. To me they were always worthless garbage but many liked the idea of buying a good looking, well manufactured chip for $2. Set collectors would have loved him. I personally liked Bill and to my knowledge he never deceived anyone regarding his manufactured chips. Hero No! Pioneer Yes! He did have an extensive inventory of authentic chips and memorabilia.
