Re: How do you all feel about a Reno Collectibles

I have not been to Reno in 35+ years and would like to go back. In fact Cindy and I have talked about Reno/Tahoe recently and a trip for a show would be great.

Last time I was in Reno I got lucky. I was at one of the casinos which had antique slot machines for sale and happened to pick up a slot machine price guide. Shortly after I got home we were robbed and someone stole one of my slot machines. The insurance company was going to pay me like $600 for my 1931 Mills Extraordinaire. Fortunately I remembered that I had the price guide and showed them the same machine in there for $2500. vbg BTW - if anyone has a red wrinkle finish Extraordinaire it is mine since the machine only originally came in grey wrinkle finish. It may still even have the newspaper ad from when I bought it taped to the inside of the back showing it offered for $700.
