UK plaques. First, The Clermont.

Only because a few people have asked me to continue showing interesting UK gaming items I am going to put some of my favourite plaques up so that they can see them in all of their glory. There will be some "trivia" with most of them and whilst I don't like repeating myself there will be ones that I have shown before but as they are either favourites, rarest or most pleasant on the eyes (in my opinion), they will get another showing. Apologies to all that will be bored but then you can just ignore them after this 1st pair. I will group together on the same post so it doesn't clog up the board.

When I heard that these were being taken off the tables I got in touch with the GM at the time to ask if there was any chance I could get hold of some only for him to say nope. When I then worked there a few years later there were people who had been able to get hold of some of them as the management decided to let the staff have some after they were drilled. I managed to buy some and also sold some for others but these are the 2 hardest to get hold of (as far as I know) so they are here now.
I only know of 1 of the £100,000 and 2 of the £500,000 in this style. There are a slightly different pair with the same denomination but these ones match the 3 lower values (£5k, £10k and £50k).
Hopefully somebody will appreciate the beauty of them.
