This goes back roughly 10 years ago. Then it was roughly $800. It is raw meaning I have yet to send it in to actually be graded and slabbed. As better coins are mainly for authentication reasons. Sadly so many collectables are fakes from China.
The average wheat cent is worth around 3 cents in copper. It's the date that adds the value. And though value is roughly 3 cents buyers of copper cents generally only pay 2 cents. it's is all about date and condition.
Keep looking,
Dennis
By the way, I have never found a birthday note also I have never found a quarter with the W (West Point Mint) mint mark. The quarter is worth a few bucks to collectors.
