And tracing the lineage back even further, there's the Bellflower shows that preceded Arcadia. Bellflower was my first in-person view of the chip/casino collectibles community. Until then, all my chip collecting was by my own harvesting at casino runs and also, purchases through the mail, like High Sierra Numismatics (Howdy Herz), Borland lists, DEB's lists, Archie Black's New Issue Service, and the like.

So, I second your thanks to Jay & David, Jim Munding, CT Rogers and others who have organized chip shows so that buyers & sellers and all the enthusiasts in the hobby can get together.

Kudos to the annual CCA convention organizers and the local/regional show organizers, like the recent Gold Coast show too. I enjoyed both shows this year and look forward to many more.
