Don't get huffy when someone lowballs you. If you don't put a price on it, then anything above $zero is a legit offer. Make a counter offer, which will probably be what you would have written on it in the first place. Do NOT just say "no thanks". When I get that type of response, I just leave as they don't know how to play the game.
