No pun intended you have a talent.
Sorry you didn’t get off to a good start and couldn’t continue
but I’m sure the experience was worth it.
Take care and maybe just a few moderate hikes would suit
you better.
I’ve gone on several 60mi hikes through the Sierras taking up
to a week or more even taking a couple days off from hiking
to relax and go fishing etc.
Climbed mount Whitney and continued over the back side out towards
Kings canyon.
Hiked over the Lake Mary pass in Mammoth Mountains for another
long 60mi hike.
Got picked up at the end of each.
It’s fun just being out there going far or just a short day hike as well.
