I use to go there with my dad it was about 1.5 hr drive from where I grew up in Mahopac NY.
I’d say we use to go around 1978-1984 I was just a kid but they allowed me to go out the the track and watch while he placed his bets at the window. Use to goto Yonkers also which was closer.
