I don’t see the amount of people determine if I bid
or continue bidding.
To me it depends who I’m bidding against, except of
course not knowing who except for an aggressive bid
usually tells me I’m up against someone who is willing
or wants the chip more than me at any cost over what
I’m willing to pay. Then it’s not worth it to me to continue.
