I was feeling frisky yesterday, probably because I was tripling up on my pain medicine by mistake and wound up in the new Talking Stick poker room. The chips are not looking good. The poker room is warehouse size. I was at table 35 in the middle of the room. The new chairs and tables are great. It was eight players at a table so lots of room. I started off losing then hit a rush with one hand winning with tens full. It turned out that was the high hand for the hour. I won $250 . Everyone else at the table knew I had the high hand; the screen was behind me. I found out when the floor man showed up to pay me. After that the cards turned bad for me. I went to lunch when I had lost my buy-in. I have a fondness for the cafe vegetable noodle bowls, they are very generous bowls. Out popped the largest carrot slices I have ever seen. I didn't know carrots got so big.
