Wow! I had never seen that chip order card before. The detail on the horses chest is an exact match for the stamp on the brown chips I saw. The yellow horse chips in the case found with Mecca chips really puts them all from the Covington, Ky location. There was a Mecca in Newport, Ky , but there is really no reason to believe any of these chips are from there. The Carr's were also involved with the Kentucky Club in Covington. I would say the Mecca chips in The Guide should be listed as from Covington, not Newport. The Carr brothers had the Mecca Cafe on Madison Ave just a few doors up from Orr's Tavern. There are chips from Orr's there as well, so gambling of some sort was common in that area. I got my Orr's chip's from the bar tender who was the daughter of the bar owner from long ago. They had a blackjack/poker table hanging on the wall in the bar with their old chips.
