January 2nd will mark the 50th Anniversary for Boyd Gaming and, as they did for their 40th Anniversary, they will be releasing a common design 50th Anniversary $5 LE from all of their Las Vegas area casino, and quite possibly all Boyd Gaming properties across the US.

10 years ago they did this same thing, with the exception of the co-owned Borgata, AC, with a common front and back design, where the inserts were different for each property (to match each properties different insert patterns and colors) and also each casino name.

A small group of us worked to help each other, where we could, to acquire chips from properties near us and make trades between us to complete a full set, or two.

Since each side of the chips were (and will be) different, I acquired 2 sets in order to display both sides of all the 40th Annversary chips. I would like to acquire 2 complete sets of the 50th Anniversary sets, due to be released on January 2, 2025.

This release is certain for Boyd properties here in Las Vegas, but I do not have a confirmation for any or all non-Nevada properties.
