Both aerial photos are dated 2024, though probably 1st quarter, when Trop was still open. I wonder how often Google takes new photos when such implosions / destruction are done? Probably a pre-set timetable.

Will be interesting to see progressive photos until 2028 (LV A's ballpark opens) and Spring 2027 (when Hard Rock LV and its new guitar hotel opens).

Reminds me of a concept I first heard in the late 1960's (or early 70's?) at college: "The Map is Not the Territory", from a 1930's academic ... but I'll leave it there.
