A question for those of you who visit non-Nevada Boyd Gaming Casinos. Here in the Greater Las Vegas Area, 9 of the 10 Boyd Gaming properties are celebrating Boyd Gaming's 50th Anniversary, all year long. To date, I am aware of each property issuing a different, yet look-alike, $5 gaming chip, in a quantity larger than 2,000 at each property, commemorating Boyd's 50th.
Each employee has been given a Boyd Gaming's 50th Anniversary pinback and a T-shirt. T-shirts are purportedly mandatory to wear at work on a specific Tuesday of each month through the end of the year.
A special player's club card (Boyd Rewards) is in use at all Rewards levels (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Onyx, and Titanium) that has the same, 50th Anniversary artwork.
I have also seen a lanyard, given to some employees, that celebrates the 50th Anniversary. Bottled water labels and bar napkins. And last, but not least, all the properties are using a paper room key protector (holder) that reflects 50th Anniversary artwork.
To my knowledge, none of the properties are using a 50th Anniversary room key and continue to use the Boyd-wide, generic room key.
So, with that background, does anyone know if any of the non-Nevada Boyd Gaming properties are celebrating Boyd's 50th Anniversary in any fashion?
Below are some of the Boyd Gaming, "50th Anniversary" tagged items here (mostly obtained at The Orleans).
