Re: GGS / Arts District / Spinetti's

Oscar, Interesting info about the GGS vacant buildings. I've been in the new GGS last summer -- about the same products as before, but arranged differently. Oriented to tourists, among others.

Regarding new use for the sold properties, as I'm sure you know, the vacant GGS complex -- and Spinetti's too -- is in the Las Vegas Arts District near downtown. Also called "18b" (meaning 18 blocks, I think).

Google's description:
About: The Arts District, or 18b, is a vibrant cultural hub packed with indie art galleries and performance spaces in converted warehouses. Major venues include the Arts Factory, with galleries, shops and a bistro, and sprawling Art Square, where the intimate Cockroach Theatre stages new plays and offbeat revivals. Bars with a bohemian vibe serve craft cocktails till late. ― Google

The Arts District, on a map, straddles Charleston Blvd on the map pic below. Spinetti's is in the very upper left corner, with the GGS building across the street as you show. Maybe the new owners plan something "artsy" to come??

Have you checked out the art & restaurant scene in the area? If so, what do you think?
