Yesterday I was in Northern Ky going through an estate sale. No luck there. On the way home I thought I'd stop at the bowling alley that the younger Glenn Schmidt had run for many years. At the counter there were a lot of new faces. I was told Glenn retired a few years ago and a younger couple bought the place. Well, I'm thinking "Bummer" a dead end. The girl at the counter said that Mr. Schmidt had given her a few things from the old days. Would I like to see them. I don't think she had any idea how crazy of a question that was! She brings out a box with old chips, dice, bingo covers, etc. , etc. I had all of the chips, but the Playtorium dice I had never seen before. In fact several new to me items.
